Frequently asked questions
Booking, pricing, collection, delivery and everything else customers ask before they send something with us.
Thirty questions we are asked most often. If yours is not here, call, email or message us — a straight answer takes a minute.
Booking and quotes
Send us the collection postcode, the delivery postcode, a description of the item and when it needs to move. Use the quote form, call +44 7875 608270, or message us on WhatsApp. We reply with a price and a collection window, and the job is only booked once you confirm.
It depends on the distance, the urgency, the size and weight of the item and the access at both ends. We quote each job individually rather than publishing a rate card that would not fit most deliveries.
Yes. Quotes are free and carry no obligation. Nothing is booked and nothing is charged unless you confirm you want to go ahead.
As quickly as we can. WhatsApp and phone are usually fastest, particularly if the delivery is urgent.
Sometimes. Same-day collection depends on the time you contact us, the route and what is already booked. Call or message and we will tell you straight away.
Timing and availability
No. Same-day delivery is offered subject to availability, route, collection time and booking requirements. We confirm what is achievable before you commit.
No. Next-day delivery options may be available depending on route, booking time and service requirements, and we confirm this when you book.
We are based in Winnersh, Wokingham, and we regularly work in the surrounding Berkshire areas. Coverage may be available depending on route and booking, so send us your postcodes and we will confirm.
Ask us. Longer journeys are considered case by case depending on the route and the diary.
Parcels, sizes and items
We carry items in a van, so we can usually take parcels that a parcel shop would refuse. Give us the approximate dimensions and weight and we will confirm before you book.
Limits depend on the vehicle, the load already booked and whether the item can be handled safely. Describe the item at the quote stage and we will tell you.
Yes, single items and small loads. This is an item transport service rather than a full house removals service, and access at both ends needs to be discussed in advance.
Not as standard. If an item needs dismantling, please arrange it beforehand or raise it when you request a quote.
Hazardous, prohibited and restricted goods cannot be carried by road couriers. Perishable and temperature-controlled items should be discussed with us first. If in doubt, describe the item and we will confirm.
Collection and delivery
Not necessarily, but somebody must be present to hand the item over. Tell us who to expect and give us their phone number.
Tell us in advance what you would like to happen — a neighbour, a safe place, or a return. Agreeing it beforehand avoids a wasted journey and an extra charge.
Use a box that fits the contents, wrap fragile items individually, fill the gaps so nothing moves, tape all the seams, and remove old labels if you are reusing a box. Writing the delivery address inside the parcel as well is a useful backup.
Items should be packed and ready for collection. If you are unsure whether your packing is adequate, describe it to us before the collection date.
Yes, as long as the seller knows we are coming and the item is ready at the agreed time. We will need their name, address and phone number.
Often, yes, and it is usually cheaper than booking each one separately. Send us the list of addresses.
Yes. Tell us what you send, how often and where it goes, and we will quote for that pattern. We do not claim existing corporate contracts — every arrangement is agreed directly with you.
Payment, changes and problems
Payment arrangements are confirmed with your quote before the job is booked. If you have a preference, mention it when you get in touch.
Let us know as early as you can. Changes are usually straightforward if we hear before the vehicle is on its way; late cancellations may still be chargeable, and we will always tell you if that applies.
We contact you. Traffic, access problems and road closures happen, and the difference between a minor delay and a bad experience is usually whether anyone told you about it.
Cover for goods in transit is confirmed in writing as part of your quote and booking. Please ask us about cover for your specific item before you book, particularly for high-value goods.
Ask us. Availability outside normal working hours depends on the route and the diary.
Yes, we deliver to both homes and businesses.
Yes. Message +44 7875 608270 on WhatsApp with your details and we will reply there.
No. There is no account to open, no app to install and no minimum number of deliveries.
The same number you booked on: +44 7875 608270, or Justdropltd23@gmail.com. You are not passed to a call centre.
